Kim Kardashian's shapewear brand, Skims, has had another successful year. As of 2024, the company is worth over $4 billion and was co-founded by Kim, Jens Grede, and Emma Grede back in 2019. Skims has something for everyone, from loungewear to lingerie.
In 2023, Time Magazine named Skims one of the most influential companies of the year. In an interview with the publication, Kim talked about her idea to start her brand, "It started off with simply finding shapewear that was a skin tone that would match my color and a lot of my friend's skin tones."
The reality star continued, "You'd either get a super light nude or just black, there was nothing in between and so I would take all my shapewear and dye it with tea bags and coffee in the bathtub or in the sink. I really was just looking for a solution to what I hadn't found out there."
This year, Skims released several different collections and collaborations with brands and celebrities that we had to revisit and talk about.

Skims x Dolce & Gabbana
On November 14, Kim announced her Skims x Dolce and Gabanna collection featuring her sister, Kourtney. The dynamic duo posed in a variety of outfits including sheer bodysuits, bras, and corsetted dresses. The collection featured mostly leopard-print, black, and white styles and was recently restocked after selling out.
A few pieces from the Skims x Dolce & Gabbana collection are still available for purchase and range in price from $48 to $498.
The Fits Everybody Logo Collection
Fans have been wanting the Skims logo to be visible on their products, and the company listened.
Back in March, the shape wear brand unveiled the Fits Everybody Logo collection that featured the Skims logo on the bands shown on the products. Tennis and pickleball fashion were the talk of 2024 and this collection was made perfect for the trend.
The 2024 Holiday Collection
Skims kicked off the holiday celebration just a few days before Halloween. Singer and songwriter Tate McRae looked stunning while posing in a winter wonderland for the 2024 Skims Holiday Collection.
Fans could choose tons of options on what to get themselves or friends for the holidays including pajamas, lingerie, and even a deck of cards.
Skims x The North Face
Skims had us covered to help prepare for the cold winter season. Back in early December, Kim unveiled her collaboration with The North Face, which included styles for everyone, including jackets, hats, gloves, and bodysuits.
On release day, the collection sold out within minutes. There has yet to be an announcement if Skims x The North Face will be restocked - but we're hopeful!
The French Terry Collection
Earlier this year, Skims did something a bit different with this loungewear collection. Instead of their iconic cotton feel, they used a different fabric called french terry. This type of fabric has a towel-like feel.
In the photoshoot, the stars of the show were Skims employees wearing different products from the collection including shorts, sweatshirts, pants, and bras.
The Valentine's Day Collection
To spice up your Valentine's Day, Skims unveiled their collection designed for the holiday all about love. Featuring singer Lana Del Rey, Kim's brand had a variety of products to choose from like lacy lingerie and bright-colored loungewear.
