It's been a hot minute since one of our favorite celebrity couples, Taylor Swift and her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend, Travis Kelce, hit the headlines or circulating the press. Now that football season is nearly here, expect that to change, and it's already happening in a big way!
Taylor and Travis, or "Tayvis," have been together since 2023, with Taylor confirming it at the Chicago Bears vs. the KC Chiefs in September of that year with her appearance. The "Love Story" singer and the tight end couldn't take their eyes off each other since, as they took on this fairy tale romance out and about. It was not just being game supportive, but checking out concerts and eating out, as any couple would.
Then, a significant milestone came in the relationship when the Chiefs won Super Bowl 2024 and Kelce and his team became champions, with Patrick Mahomes being honored as the MVP. Taylor congratulated Travis by kissing him on the field following his achievement as confetti cascaded. It was a perfect ending for a perfect game, if you ask us, and Swifties were cheering Tayvis on as they watched from their small screens.
Swifties are now cheering again because another big moment happened, thanks to Travis.

There comes a time for nearly every couple to go Instagram Official, and on July 24, Taylor and Travis took that leap. In a Carousel that the NFL star shared, he included several snaps of the Grammy winner by his side. These aren't formal or PR photos, but rather casual ones of the couple doing everyday, casual things. Three of them have Taylor and Travis enjoying a night out on the hockey rink.
Fans online, however, were busy analyzing Travis's black-and-white lock screen photo, which features him with his girlfriend. While it seems innocent enough, Taylor is posing with her hand up, as if an engagement ring were slipped on her finger by her man. Given that they both prefer privacy but want to reveal things discreetly, it appears that way, but an engagement isn't going to happen just yet.
But Taylor is wearing rings though, so the fans are not entirely wrong in their speculation.
According to E!, the singer is showing off Travis's Super Bowl rings that he has acquired over the years. While they're not engagement rings, they do represent Taylor's commitment to him, despite being in the public eye and being either admired or scrutinized.

What's next for the lovebirds? Another season of games, dates, and who knows? Maybe an engagement will happen this year and the lock screen was a clue to the special moment. If not, then we still wish Taylor and Travis all the happiness and love that they deserve.
