Taylor Swift returns to the NFL in Chiefs-inspired look
Taylor Swift is proudly supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and is looking good while doing it. The singer, who wrapped up the European block of her international ERAS Tour, attended the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens game on September 5th at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The game was the NFL opener of the 2024-2025 season.
Last season, Taylor attended nearly every Chiefs game, with her first being the Chicago Bears, and her presence increased viewership. Soon enough, people wanted to catch the Grammy winner on their small screens rather than keep up with Patrick Mahomes and Kelce's plays. But that didn't matter, as the Cheifs had a victory year and won Super Bowl LVIII, their second championship.
Now Taylor and the Chiefs have a fresh start and it seems like the former will once again influence the team in a positive and winning light. Because she' Taylor Swift and that's what she does.
Taylor Swift styles it up at the Chiefs game
Taylor wasn't holding back on her gameday fashion for the big NFL season opener, and she nailed it. Usually, fans go to the games wearing their favorite team jersey or shirt to show their support for their favorite players and teams. Taylor kicked it up a notch but still showed her love for the Chiefs.
So what did she wear?
As it was warm out in Kansas City, Taylor dressed for the weather in a denim cropped corset-styled top with matching high-waisted denim shorts. For accessories, she wore a gold statement pendant necklace. Delicate gold bracelets and earrings added the right touches, and she carried a Louis Vuitton handbag that replicated one of their old-time steamer trunks.
Yet, everyone knows that an outfit cannot be completed without footwear, and this is where Taylor expressed her support for the team and Travis. She wore a pair of glossy red leather thigh-high boots that resonated wonderfully with the Chiefs team color. The boots are from the designer Giuseppe Zanotti (according to People), and while we cannot find them on the official Zanotti website, we're sure there are similar versions.
Taylor's entrance at the Chiefs vs.Ravens game might have disputed any break-up rumors between her and Travis. In case you need a fill-in, a contract by high school students was created regarding a possible break-up that will occur on September 28th. Both Taylor and Travis's PR teams have denied that the documentation is authentic and that no break-up will take place.
Following the game, Taylor and Travis went on the town for pizza, celebrating the Chiefs' win of 30-27.
