The Kardashian family hosts the most over-the-top and well-decorated parties for the kids' birthdays, holidays, and special events. They're often covered on reality shows on Hulu and Instagram. While several of us don't have the pocketbooks (I certainly don't) to throw a Kardashian-styled celebration, I love watching how they're planned and put together because the results are truly spectacular.
Mindy Weiss is responsible for creating the family's parties and has been doing so for over four decades. The Los Angeles-based planner not only has a professional relationship with the Kardashians and Jenners, but a personal relationship as well. Her friendship with the members helps the party design process and creates a unique and memorable experience. Over time, Weiss has become synonymous with her world-famous clients.
Aside from the birthday galas, Weiss additionally plans global weddings and connects with couples to ensure that their special days will be something to reflect on. Weiss often incorporates natural elements such as florals and soft colors into her work, but she also goes with bolder flairs to play up the aesthetics.
Her latest celebrity event was the wedding of singer and Disney starlet, Demi Lovato, and her husband, Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes. Weiss created a near-Gothic garden escape with black and red detailing, and the venue, the Bellosguardo Estate in Santa Barbara, being the center point, aside from Lovato. The wedding was heavily featured in Vogue Magazine in a display of black-and-white and colored photography.
Weiss was even behind the graduation surprise party for Kim Kardashian, who finished her law apprenticeship program last month. Personal touches included placemats made from Kim's study cards and tiny cakes designed as graduation caps in the neutral palette of SKIMS.
The get-together, which included Kris and Khloé among the guests, was hosted at the historic Beverly Hills Hotel, which embodies simple and quiet luxury.

Inspiration to create Disneyland in Kris's backyard came from antique Life magazines.
Khloé's Khloé Wood 40th birthday party
They say life begins at 40, or so Khloé believes. For her entry into her fourth decade in 2024, Weiss and Kim planned out the perfect celebration with a Dollywood theme. The party was a trip back to the Wild West, with saloons, a mechanical bull, and plenty of hay. There was even a surprise in-video appearance by Dolly Parton!

It finally snowed in Southern California for Christmas 2023! Not really, but the faux white stuff transformed Kim's Christmas Eve party into a wintry dreamscape. Coca-Cola sponsored the party, and guests could explore a life-sized gingerbread house.

When Khloé's son Tatum turned one in 2023, the Good American founder hosted an out-of-this-world space birthday bash. Kids received their very own astronaut helmets and participated in arts and crafts centered around the theme.
Kim's 40th birthday party
For Kim's big 4-0, Weiss went with the ultimate throwback celebration. She highlighted specific elements of the parties' past and added clips and photos from milestone birthdays. As the mother of four's birthday is in late October, Weiss threw in some Halloween spookiness, which brought everything out.
