Blac Chyna granted restraining order against Rob Kardashian

Blac Chyna just won her first major victory in the form of a restraining order against Rob Kardashian.

As promised, Blac Chyna and her attorney Lisa Bloom were in court early on Monday morning to request a restraining order against Rob Kardashian. It looks like the pair were successful and in a press conference held before heading into court, Chyna talked about her reaction to Rob’s now-infamous Instagram rant.

It hasn’t even been a full week since Rob Kardashian lost it and posted a rant on Instagram that lasted for hours. He’d probably still be posting there but the social media giant shut down his account after he posted nude photos of Blac Chyna.

Rob then moved to Twitter, where he reposted the photos and much of his rant about his ex-fiance. The KUWTK star’s outburst was definitely a bad idea but he lost it after reportedly receiving a Fourth of July message from Chyna that included video of her kissing another man.

Rob outed Chyna for many things including her alleged drug use and he waged claims that she cheated on him. It’s clear that Rob still had high hopes to reunite with Chyna and make their family work. Now, there is next to no chance that Dream Kardashian’s parents will be having any happy reunions.

After posting what has been deemed “revenge porn” during his wild rant, Blac Chyna lawyered up. She hired Lisa Bloom, who happens to be Gloria Allred’s daughter and the new team headed to “Good Morning America” and the courthouse before giving another press conference afterward.

When asked about her reaction to Rob’s rant, Chyna made it clear that she has suffered. That’s one of the biggest points in proving a revenge porn case after all. Revenge porn has been illegal in California since 2014 and as the Washington Post pointed out, it is defined as  “intentionally distributing photos or videos that were meant to be private and with the knowledge that sharing the images would cause ‘serious emotional distress.'”

“I was devastated, of course,” Chyna told ABC News on Monday. “This is a person that I trusted. … I felt comfortable, you know, with even sending these pictures and even talking to him about certain things.”

More from Kardashian Dish

Blac Chyna’s restraining order against Rob Kardashian is temporary. However, there is likely a plan and a court date set in order to make the order permanent. Obtaining a temporary restraining order is the first step of the process.

According to Lisa Bloom, Blac Chyna’s temporary restraining order will make it illegal for Rob Kardashian to come anywhere near her or for him to cyber bully her online. Rob is also no longer allowed to post anything personal about Chyna on social media.

“We had a complete and total victory. The judge gave us everything we asked for, which is a set of very strong and enforceable restraining orders against Rob Kardashian,” Bloom said. “Revenge porn is a form of domestic abuse, it is also a crime in California and 38 other states, and it is a civil wrong.”
