Robert Shapiro, famous for working with his father in the O.J. Simpson murder case, will be representing Rob Kardashian.

Rob Kardashian was not in court on Monday morning but his lawyer, Robert Shapiro was. The famous O.J. Simpson lawyer told the judge that his client would voluntarily leave Blac Chyna alone. It turns out that Shapiro and Kardashian both agreed that Rob should keep his distance from his ex-fiance, both online and in person.

In cases like the one involving Rob and Chyna, a restraining order is almost a guarantee. There really wasn’t much use for Robert Shapiro being involved in that decision.

As many who saw the Rob Kardashian Instagram rant already have assumed, Blac Chyna’s restraining order is just the beginning. There are many more questions to be answered. The most important being: What will happen with Dream Kardashian?

According to TMZRobert Shapiro’s involvement on behalf of Rob Kardashian has more to do with custody of Dream than a restraining order from Blac Chyna.

Shapiro told TMZ that Rob Kardashian’s Instagram rant was “a spontaneous reaction that he regrets.” Shapiro also said, “Rob’s only concern is for the well-being of baby Dream.”

Earlier today, Blac Chyna spoke out about the recent drama with her ex-fiance.  “I’ve talked to Rob, you know, about everything. I’ve talked to him,” Chyna told ABC News. “The moral of the story is, like, he doesn’t respect me, so if you can’t respect me, you have to respect the law.”

Respect the law he did! Rob Kardashian has hired Robert Shapiro as his lawyer. Shapiro is one of the most famous lawyers alive. He also has a long history with the Kardashian family.

According to Bustle, in addition to serving on the same legal team as Rob’s famous father in the O.J. Simpson murder trial, he also co-founded Shoe Dazzle with Kim Kardashian and a few others in 2009.

In 2013, Shapiro represented Rob Kardashian when a paparazzi photographer sued him for assault and robbery. Rob was accused of stealing a photographer’s memory card after she tried to sneak a picture of him shirtless. Rob fired back at the photog, claiming that they shouldn’t have been trespassing on private property.

It’s clear that Kardashian keeps Robert Shapiro on call in case he needs legal help. Then again, since Shapiro is a family friend, he’d likely represent any of the Kardashians who came asking for help.
