Taylor Swift paints herself as the victim of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on new album

Kim Kardashian made it clear that she is unbothered by any and all shots Taylor Swift has taken on her new Reputation album.

On November 10, Taylor Swift released her latest album titled Reputation. It also happens to be the 10th anniversary of the death of Kanye West’s mother, Donda West. Is this a coincidence or just a super shady move on Taylor’s part? Considering how many times the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer has taken shots at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in her latest album, it’s looking more like she really went low on purpose.

Kanye West fans have been paying attention to the subtle and not-so-subtle jabs that Taylor has taken. It’s not surprising that she’s decided to take aim at Kim and Kanye after they outed her for being a liar. Swift is known for taking the low road and using her song lyrics to diss former friends and boyfriends. There’s really nothing new to see here.

Entertainment Tonight is calling out Taylor Swift over some lyrics from a newly dropped song called “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.” In it, she sings, “And therein lies the issue / friends don’t try to trick you / get you on the phone and mind twist you.”

Now let’s set the record straight about that phone call. It was recorded so we could hear both sides. The problem is, Taylor Swift didn’t know that until she lied to the world and claimed she had no idea Kanye West was about to release a song about her. Let’s say this again: SHE lied. Then Swift was caught in her lie when Kim Kardashian posted that phone conversation on Snapchat and let everyone see it for themselves.

And now she’s mad that they recorded her phone call? It seems that the fake friend was Taylor Swift, who can be heard happily okaying Kanye West’s song about her.

DId it have lyrics in it that may have upset Taylor after she heard the finished song? Well, absolutely yes. However, that’s on her since Kanye called and asked permission and she gave it. Swift never put conditions on her approval or asked to see the exact lyrics.

Now the songstress is taking aim at Kim and Kanye and acting as if they really did something bad to her. They didn’t. All Kim did was clear Kanye’s name after Taylor tried to paint him as the villain when, in fact, she was prepped for the song release and gave Kanye permission to do it.

This latest album Reputation just proves that Taylor Swift can dish it out but she certainly can’t take it when her own nastiness backfires. For years, she has been writing about other people including ex-boyfriends John Mayer and Harry Styles. Not to mention “Bad Blood” which is supposed to be about her ongoing feud with Katy Perry.

It seems that Taylor Swift might have learned her less when Kim Kardashian outed her as a liar. Instead, she’s very obviously trying to turn the Kanye West “Famous” situation around so that she looks like a victim. That is just sad all around.

It seems that Taylor Swift would have done much better to take some of her own advice and “Shake It Off.” Continuing to take shots at Kim and Kanye isn’t hurting them at all. It does make Taylor look very desperate.
