Kanye West returns to Instagram with a Valentine’s Day message for Kim Kardashian

We just knew he wouldn’t be gone forever and on Valentine’s Day 2018, Kanye West’s Instagram account was reactivated. 

Kanye West’s Instagram has been deactivated for nearly a year now. It was May 2017 that the “Mercy” rapper took down all his pictures and went radio silent on social media. It looks like Kanye wanted to do something really special for Kim on Valentine’s Day, though. What’s more special than a triumphant return to Instagram complete with a whole bunch of pictures of other people?

It looks like Kanye was trying to be romantic for his wife on Valentine’s Day when he took to Instagram and started uploading. The very first picture was clearly a handmade card that he made for Kim Kardashian. The cover of the card read, “Happy Valentine’s Day Baby” and there was no further caption needed.

After that, Kanye got to work. He posted 52 photos of other iconic couples. The issue brought up about Kanye West’s photos is that if he was trying to be romantic, most of those couples aren’t even together anymore.

Starting out with Madonna and Sean Penn, Kanye posted pictures of Michelle and Barack Obama and then Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford. Of those three couples, only one is still together. It’s unclear if he was just going for famous relationships without regard to whether they are still together or not.

Or whether they are even a real couple. Kanye even posted a picture of Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth. Now, they were a couple on Sex and the City. As a matter of fact, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big were a very big deal. However, Sarah is married to Matthew Broderick and has been for a very long time.

The final three photos Kanye posted to Instagram were defintely special despite whatever he was trying to do with all those famous couples. One of the photos featured Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian. It was a really nice throwback photo to Kim’s parents.

And then there was Kimye. Kanye West  proved his love for Kim Kardashian yet again with a throwback photo of the power couple eating ice cream together. His other Kimye photo was newer, proven by Kim’s blonde hair. In that photo, it’s unclear if they getting in or out of a car but they are definitely out together.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West make a gorgeous couple and it’s clear that they are still very dedicated to each other. Kanye’s Instagram display on Valentine’s Day may not seem like a big deal but to a creative like Kanye, it was a huge deal.
