It’s no secret that Kanye West wants to run for president and it’s also no secret that Kim Kardashian has a fascination with former First Ladies. Put two and two together and you have a new story about the real reason the KUWTK star headed to the White House for a visit with Donald Trump. 

Kim Kardashian has dreams of living in the White House. After all, Kanye West still plans to run for the highest office in 2024. Don’t think he can win it? Well, look at who won the last presidential race. At this point, anything is possible.

On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian jetted off to Washington DC where she met with President Donald Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. The trip was billed as a meeting to talk about prison reform and Kim made it clear that she was asking for clemency for great-grandmother Alice Johnson. But was there more to the meeting than meets the eye?

According to Radar Online, the reason for Kim’s White House visit may have been multi-faceted. They believe that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had selfish reasons for the DC trip that go beyond her previous work to free Johnson. Instead, Kim is being accused of scoping out the Oval Office while she was busy meeting with the POTUS.

“Kim wants nothing more than to be First Lady when her husband Kanye West runs for President,” an insider told Radar. “Kim wants to show the world that she has what it takes to do this role, and has a cause to champion that Americans can relate to.”

This revelation is really nothing new. Prior to Kanye West’s support of Trump, he initially claimed to be running for president in 2020. Now, it seems that Kanye is either trying to be respectful of Trumps run for re-election or maybe he realizes that he’s not ready yet. Either way, the plans were postponed for four years.

Kim Kardashian has also been preparing herself for the role in a few different ways. Prior to the prison reform meeting, she communicated back and forth with Jared Kushner for months. He also is a big supporter of prison reform and wants to change the way the system works after his own father spent a year behind bars.

Kim is also preparing herself for the role by studying up on Jackie Kennedy. Kim is a huge fan of the former First Lady and has a collection of items previously owned by JFK’s widow. She has emulated Jackie’s looks for magazine shoots and made her admiration known.
