First comes quarantine, then perhaps comes quarantine baby making? That’s not exactly how it goes for everybody, says Hailey Baldwin.

Justin Bieber‘s wifey recently revealed some key (and notably cute) reasons why their quarantine experience has just been love and marriage, minus the baby in the baby carriage.  Like the rest of us, Mr. and Mrs. Bieber tried to make the most out of being stuck at home. However, the couple’s locked down downtime did not result in a pregnancy, reports Us Weekly.

While promoting her hubby’s latest project Justin Bieber: Seasons, Hailey Baldwin got candid during interviews at PaleyFest LA, opening up about what a quarantined marriage looks like and why it’s not quite time for a Bieber baby yet. For starters, the 23-year-old model feels that they are still “pretty newly married.” And timing, of course, is everything.

Continuing to keep it real, Hailey Baldwin added that the two have taken this time as an opportunity to grow closer, becoming “more deeply” acquainted as a married couple. While discussing the prospect of a little baby Biebs, Hailey revealed, “We didn’t make any babies, so that’s that,” adding, “Honestly, I really do think we’ve enjoyed this time.”

The “Intentions” singer joined the baby talk and honestly agreed with his main squeeze. Like Hailey, Justin admitted that all of this cozying up has been more than just enjoyable for these two. The singer claimed that quarantining allowed special space to form a “deeper bond with each other,” saying:

“It’s surprisingly pretty good for us. Obviously, we have compassion for those who are really struggling and that hurts us. But for us, we’ve really been able to create a deeper bond with each other, spending a lot of time with each other and not traveling, but road-trippin.”
