Fans are not happy with Kim Kardashian after she was seen looking a little too tan. Her followers are now accusing her of “blackfishing,” though it’s not the first time Kim has been accused of doing so.

According to The Indian Express, the accusations started rolling in after Kim shared a video to Twitter where she was seen rocking a large tan puffer jacket and a full face of makeup. However, a close look at her hands revealed they were an entirely different color than the rest of her body. This didn’t sit right with people, who threw major shade her way.

“At least put foundation on your hands too,” one person replied. “You forgot to tan your hand,” another said. Others pointed out what many are considering racist about her look. “Kim you’re literally blackfishing,” one person tweeted.

This is hardly the first time Kim Kardashian has found herself in hot water for cultural appropriation. In March 2020, she was accused of blackfishing with one of her hairstyles. At the time, Kim stepped out in long, tight braids during an appearance at Paris Fashion Week. As she made her way to Kanye West’s Yeezy season 8 fashion show, she was photographed in the controversial hairstyle.

Many people were fuming after seeing her braids, deeming the choice cultural appropriation. You can see a pic of Kim’s braids below.

While Kim Kardashian hasn’t responded to her most recent blackfishing accusations, she has addressed them in the past. When speaking to Bustle in 2018, she said she never intended to disrespect someone else’s culture when wearing braids. “Obviously know they’re called Fulani braids and I know the origin of where they came from and I’m totally respectful of that,” she said.

“I’m not tone deaf to where I don’t get it,” she continued. “I do get it.”

Now, it looks like Kim has some more explaining to do.
