Were Sofia Richie and Amelia Hamlin once friends?

Hollywood is smaller than you might think! As fans on Reddit pointed out on February 14, Scott Disick’s new girlfriend Amelia Hamlin appears to be friends with his ex, Sofia Richie. Or, at least they used to be.

Fans unearthed a throwback picture of Hamlin and Richie posing together at a party, and they can’t get over the humor behind the pic. At the time, the ladies seemed blissfully unaware of the romantic tie they would eventually share.

“Sofia & Amelia at Sofia’s launch party for her collab with Rolla’s jeans (Feb 2020),” a fan on Reddit said, adding that Scott Disick was also in attendance at the bash which took place less than a year ago.

Whether this photo is an indication that Sofia Richie and Amelia Hamlin used to be besties, or that they were just in a room together and were asked to take a photo, the fact of the matter is that these ladies do run in similar circles. 22-year-old Sofia is in close age to 19-year-old Amelia, and they’re both model-influencers.

Sofia Richie and Scott Disick called it quits in August, and the reality star has since moved on with Hamlin, who is the daughter of Real Housewives star Lisa Rinna.

So far, fans seem cynical of Scott Disick’s newfound romance with Hamlin. In addition to their controversial 18-year age gap, fans on Reddit pointed out that Disick doesn’t even currently follow Hamlin on Instagram. They may not be social media friends, but they had no problem posing for pics together on February 14 when celebrating Valentine’s Day.

No word yet on whether Hamlin and Richie are still on good terms, but seeing as Disick moved on from his ex at lightning speed, we probably won’t be seeing photos of the two ladies together anytime soon.
