Kim Kardashian spotted without her wedding ring amid reported divorce from Kanye West

Kim Kardashian is welcoming a new chapter in her life. Just a day before the news came out that she had filed for divorce from Kanye West, she officially ditched her wedding ring. Yep, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was spotted out and about without the sparkler West bought for her in 2013.

As Us Weekly reports, Kim Kardashian was spotted leaving a friend’s house in Los Angeles when the paparazzi snapped her photo. After a close look, it became apparent the wedding band and engagement ring she usually wears were missing from her left hand.

The next day on February 19, news broke that Kim had finally filed the divorce paperwork and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children. The reality star reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as her reason for filing.

West proposed to Kardashian in October 2013, popping the question at the  AT&T Park stadium in San Francisco, California. The pair enjoyed six seemingly happy years together as husband and wife, but whispers they were headed towards divorce started surfacing in 2020 after ‘Ye displayed erratic behavior on social media a multitude of times. While Kardashian defended his behavior, claiming it was because of his bipolar disorder, things turned murkier for the couple as the year went on.

By December 2020, reports had surfaced claiming KimYe were no longer living under the same roof and had officially called it quits. As one of the most iconic Hollywood couples to date, their split truly marks the end of an era.
