Tristan Thompson seems to have tried everything to avoid cheating on Khloe Kardashian but daughter True got in the way in the end

Last night’s (June 3) episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians sure was juicy, it seemed like the 30-year-old Boston Celtics player, Tristan Thompson was trying to do everything in his power to ensure his relationship with the 36-year-old KUWTK beauty, Khloe Kardashian continued thriving as it did during quarantine, but it seemed his efforts were hindered by his own three-year-old daughter, True Thompson.

During the penultimate episode of KUWTK, titled “The End Part 1“, viewers watched as Tristan Thompson awaited news of where he will be playing basketball next, after his tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers ended in 2020. While he hoped for a more local team like the Los Angeles Clippers or Lakers, he ended up with a contract with the Boston Celtics, meaning he had to relocate to Boston, moving literally to the opposite side of the country to where Khloe Kardashian and their daughter True are based.

Before Khloe and Tristan found out where he was moving to, the Good American founder spoke candidly in a confessional about their situation, expressing that their relationship has definitely improved after his last cheating endeavours that rocked the couple, making it clear without explicitly stating that she would rather keep Tristan close.

"“Since the pandemic started, Tristan has been in LA. It’s been really really nice having Tristan here, he’s so helpful, he’s really supportive. We’ve spent so much time together that I feel like we’re attached to one another. Of course, I want Tristan happy and to go to wherever is best for him and his career but it’s still really scary. It’s a very very fast process this season, so I think that adds a layer of anxiety for both of us. He’s making essentially a life-changing decision in 48 hours.”"

As the Kardashian-Jenner clan journeyed to Lake Tahoe, for the last family trip being filmed for KUWTK, Khloe Kardashian revealed that Tristan Thompson was in Boston and would not be able to attend the family vacation, she later took to a confessional again to add further details.

"“It’s crazy how fast everything is going, we just found out and Tristan’s already in Boston, with Tristan going to another team there’s a lot of change and a lot of unknowns and right now, I just… don’t know what that means for myself and for True. But, I have time to think about everything on this Tahoe trip.”"

While on the Tahoe trip, Kim Kardashian was dealing with her own relationship troubles, with Kanye West, but she put them aside for the moment to video chat with the Boston Celtic’s player, while in bed with her sister Kourtney Kardashian.

Kim greeted Tristan Thompson with a cheery “it’s your favourite sisters” declaration, before asking how the 30-year-old basketball player was getting on with his new team, and though Tristan seemed happy with his welcome, he was quick to bring up their younger sister, Khloe.

“Waiting on Khloe now. She needs to come bring her a** up here, her and True. I miss them,” he told the KUWTK beauties, as they sympathetically nodded along. He explained:

"“I just got so used to the COVID routine. You know? Like, go work out, then I’m home [with True and Khloe] all day.”"

Kim Kardashian revealed that Khloe and Tristan had “gotten so much closer during the pandemic” during a confessional and when given the opportunity to ask Tristan straight up if he wanted the Good American founder to move out to Boston with him, he answered, “of course!”

He revealed that he has been trying to convince the 36-year-old KUWTK star to relocate to Boston with their daughter, True, before his departure, and shared his vision with the sisters for his future with Khloe in Boston: “It’s snowing. [We] turn the fireplace on. We can watch Netflix, [drink] hot chocolate, lay up and cuddle.”

He then enlisted their help to try and convince Khloe on the move, but when the sisters confronted Khloe it didn’t go quite as planned …

While the SKIMS founder was prepping Khloe on her case against her contractor who “ran off” with the deeds and money for her dream home, Kim took the opportunity to bring up Tristan and a potential Boston move.

Kim said: “We spoke with Tristan. He misses you and wishes you would go there. He definitely wants you to move there though like he wants you to …”

“Like full time?” interrupted Khloe, to which Kim nodded.

And though Khloe Kardashian wasn’t “opposed” to the idea of moving to Boston, she claimed that at the present time during a pandemic, it’s just not fair to relocate her daughter across the country.

Meaning that, if somehow Khloe and True made the move to Boston, Tristan Thompson may never have found himself in hot waters again, dodging new cheating claims that are circulating their relationship.
