Khloé Kardashian (finally) revealed her son’s name to James Corden while in attendance at her younger sister Kendall Jenner‘s 818 Tequila party. The Good American founder caught up with the late-night talk show host about her life happenings. She discussed having a baby through surrogacy and the name of her 9-month-old son.
“His name is Tatum,” Khloé said. “True and Tatum.”
Khloé shares her two children with LA Lakers player and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, who has been a constant presence in their lives.
The Revenge Body star revealed on the Jennifer Hudson Show in April that her son’s name will “start with a ‘T.”
While earlier reports may have disclosed Tatum’s full name, (Tatum Robert), and Khloé’s best friend Malika Haqq dropping a hint on Instagram, sometimes it’s best to wait for the formal announcement.
Earlier in the episode, the reality star had a heart-to-heart with older sister Kim about having Tatum through a surrogate has felt different than when she was naturally pregnant with True. She felt less connected and wondered if Kim shared the same experience, given that she used a surrogate for her two youngest children, Chicago and Psalm, respectively.
“It’s a mindf—. It’s really the weirdest thing,” Khloé shared and continued with, “I do feel less connected. People do say it takes a minute to feel connected but you said yours was easy. This is not easy.”
Kim mentions that Khloé’s connection loss might be related to a lack of unity between mother and baby during the nine months when the baby is inside since the surrogate is the one having the bond. The author then went on how everyone connects differently.
“I do think that there is a difference when the baby is in your belly. It actually feels your real heart. Think about it. It touches your organs. There is no one else on this planet that will feel you from the inside like that,” Kim explains to her sister. “People can connect in different ways and people can not connect.”
Furthermore, Khloé wished that others told more about the surrogacy process and what to expect from it. Perhaps, she might’ve been more in the zone and less guilty.
“I definitely was in a state of shock from my entire experience in general. I felt really guilty that this woman just had my baby and I take the baby and go to another room and you are separated.”
Despite this, Khloé strives to be the best mother to her children.
