Kim Kardashian reveals she got a tattoo on The Kardashians
Kim Kardashian surprised us all when she released she got a tattoo in the newest episode of The Kardashians. While she said she’d never get inked in the past, the personality obviously had a change of heart. Of course, her tattoo is in the unlikeliest place, but it’s no longer a secret.
If you’ve been keeping up with Kim since her early reality TV days with E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and her in general, you might recall her saying, “Honey, you don’t put a bumper on a Bentley!” Simply put, the phrase means that anything or anyone of high class and value should not be tainted with something of low class. In Kim’s case, this meant tattoos.
“[There’s] something you don’t know about me,” She revealed to her “hair husband,” Chris Appleton, regarding her “secret” in the November 9th episode. To the cameras, Kim pulls down her bottom lip, and we get a peek at her never-before-seen tattoo.
“It’s an infinity symbol,” Kim says of the new ink. “When I hosted SNL [in 2021], me and all of my friends got matching tattoos. Everyone got them on their hands, and I was, like, ‘There’s not a shot that I will get a tattoo.’ But, I finally put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.”
In the throwback footage of Kim getting inked, she’s on her back as the artist works precariously on her lip. Her longtime friend, La la Anthony, is at her feet, enjoying the event.
“No one knows, no one sees it, and I forget,” Kim finishes. “But every once in a while, I will be flossing my teeth, and I will see something black.”
Kim Kardashian is not the only one of the Kardashians who has a tattoo
Kim might be the latest family member to get tattooed, aside from her brother-in-law, Travis Barker, but she’s not the only one with ink. Her younger brother, Rob Kardashian, has many tattoos, including a portrait of their late father, Robert Kardashian.
Khloé has a few tats herself, but like Kim, they’re a blink, and you’ll miss them. The one that stands out is the “I love you” written in their father’s cursive handwriting. She got it to remember her dad, who was her rock.
