Beyoncé is the latest celebrity to join the LA Fires relief efforts, and her contribution is greatly appreciated by the victims.

On January 14th, one week after the fires began across Southern California, specifically in Los Angeles, Beyoncé made an announcement on her Instagram, stating that she had postponed her scheduled January 14th announcement and shifted her focus on the LA Fires relief movement instead.

I fully appreciate that she's informing people about what's happening in our country, and we must band together to help when we can. It doesn't matter who we are, our net worth, or what we do because we're all affected by the tragedy. While it's devastating and heartbreaking, it brought out remarkable acts of kindness and love through the hearts of others.

What did Beyoncé say in her Instagram post regarding the LA Fires?

As mentioned above, Beyoncé took to the social media platform today and instead of the planned announcement she was going to make, the "Texas Hold 'Em" singer wrote about her LA Fires relief efforts. The letter is a heartfelt sentiment to the victims as well as being blessed for the first responders risking their lives.

"The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around [the] areas of Los Angeles," the post reads. I continue to pray for healing and [the] rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community. To join our effort in supporting those impacted, please visit @beygood."

Beyoncé additionally noted that her foundation, BeyGOOD, has donated $250 million to families whose homes were annihilated and provided organizations with needed supplies for the community.

"The BeyGOOD Fire Relief Fund has donated $2.5 million to directly support families who lost their homes and community organazations at the fore front of relief. Please join us in supporting whatever you can."

The BeyGOOD Foundation was launched in 2013 by Beyoncê. The nonprofit aims to provide resources and funding for those impacted by hardships, desiring a higher education through scholarships, and assist in natural disasters and global unity.

BeyGOOD's latest endeavor is helping Los Angeles recover from the wildfires. A quarter of a billion dollars have been donated, with more accumulating through donors. California's adjustment will be challenging and complex, but as we mentioned, many people are extending help to better everyone's lives in a time of absolute need.
