Kim Kardashian has been quietly working as the executive producer on a documentary miniseries of the late actress, Elizabeth Taylor. Titled Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar, the three-part documentary explores the off-screen life of the Oscar winner and how her worthy causes and her advocacy for humanity have shaped our perspective a celebrities and entertainment as a whole.
The documentary has already been aired in the UK on the BBC months ago, but now fans in the US will have a chance to view it. Fox Nation has acquired the distribution rights to be a part of its streamer's expansive catalog. As for its debut, the date is set for Monday, October 6.
Taylor's life was additionally plagued by scandal and hardships —ones that led to nonstop tabloid circulation and ridicule. Despite these obstacles that often come with fame, she kept her head above the water (and expensive jewels). It's the best revenge when the world takes a backseat and projects a negative scope on someone.
Kim Kardashian will appear in Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar
Kim has long mentioned that Taylor, along with another screen icon, Marilyn Monroe, is among her idols. She was even the last person to interview Taylor a month before her death at 79 in 2011. For the SKIMS founder, it was an honor to have that endeavor.
Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar will chronicle Taylor's life, her rise to fame, and her philanthropy, as well as commentary from Kim, Paris Jackson, and Taylor's son, Chris. The documentary will be divided into three episodes and will drop on the same day on FOX Nation.
In the press release below, it gives a more in-depth reveal of what's to come. By its description, there's no better description of a Hollywood star than Taylor. She left a legacy not only for her film roles, but for her personal life too.
