Kourtney Kardashian is using her influence and celebrity profile to voice her concerns about one of the important matters- the environment. She and her fellow Calabasas residents are protesting to protect their city's atmosphere. Their hope is to get others not to inflict harm on the community by dumping toxic materials in forbidden sites.
The mother of four posted her Protect Calabasas endeavor on Instagram in a small Carousel on February 27th. In the selected photos, Kourtney holds up a sign that reads "Protect Calabasas! No toxic fire waste!" She also uses a bullhorn to get her voice across and alert people of her stance.
Don't expect Kourtney to wear a gown and heels while marching on the concrete streets of her neighborhood. She wore a black sweatsuit with a white tee underneath, black shades, and sneakers for the mission. In another slide, a young girl around her daughter, Penelope's age, holds up a sign that says "Our kids over contamination"
What Kourtney Kardashian said about living in Calabasas
Along with the snaps, Kourtney provided a long and detailed caption that highlights her protest's purpose and why she loves Calabasas. She made it very clear regarding the Protect Calabasas movement and why others should consider about the toxic waste problems.
The first portion of her caption reads the following:
"I went [to] protest today with my incredible friends and fellow Calabasas residents who want to keep Calabasas the most special place to live...it is not a place where toxic and harmful ash should be dumped right net to schools and parks, which could affect our children's health, fertility, and so much more."
Kourtney further enunciated that the city is attempting to preserve its local mountain lions and prevent their extinction as throwing harmful materials into their environment can very much lead up to that. All creatures have the right to survive and thrive on the same planet as us, and it's up to us to conserve them.

I admire Kourtney for utilizing her fame for something progressive and creating a much-needed platform. As someone who deeply cares about the Earth and its remarkable organisms and landscapes, it's vital to get the voices heard so that future beings don't need to suffer from past mistakes. We might not be in the same pay grade as the Kardashians (and that's fine), but on certain things, we should have a mutual understanding. That applies to anyone we converse with or know or know of.
Since the SoCal Wildfire disaster in January, Calabasas and the surrounding areas have been experiencing the dumping of hazardous materials at an upscale level. The Protect Calabasas organization is sharpening its focus on waste prevention so that the city can continue to be a family-first community.
