Jennifer Lopez Shares Insights on Her Latest Single, 'Can't Get Enough'

Jennifer Lopez makes a dazzling return with her latest single, "Can't Get Enough" and an accompanying music video directed by Dave Meyers. In the video, J. Lo playfully alludes to her past marriages, moving from husband to husband, complete with wedding attendees placing bets on the longevity of each union. The self-referential visuals conclude with Lopez in plain view of the camera as voiceovers from assumed exes air their grievances.
"Can't Get Enough" serves as the lead single for Lopez's upcoming ninth album, "This Is Me... Now," set to release on February 16. This album marks her return to the studio since 2014's "A.K.A." and pays homage to "This Is Me... Then," released 20 years ago, exploring her high-profile relationship with actor Ben Affleck. The album picks up from its predecessor, as Lopez and Affleck reunited, leading up to the recording and subsequent elopement.
In an interview at the Golden Globes, Lopez described the album as a "meta story" about the journey from heartbreak back to love, drawing from her own experiences. She emphasized that while not an expert on marriage, she is well-versed in weddings. Affleck, supportive as always, sees her as an artist expressing herself.
Recorded at her Los Angeles home between 2022 and the previous year, the album features core collaborators such as Rogét Chahayed, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, and Angel Lopez. Musicians like Hit-Boy, Tay Keith, and T-Minus also contribute. While "Can't Get Enough" provides a glimpse, Lopez plans to celebrate the album release with "This Is Me... Now: A Love Story" on Amazon Prime, alongside a deluxe edition featuring exclusive photos and colored vinyls.
This latest project showcases Lopez's continued evolution in the music scene, promising an exploration of love, heartbreak, and self-expression.
