The Kardashians: Kourtney Kardashian explores Australia while fighting the paparazzi

In this week's penultimate episode of The Kardashians, there's no fiercer Mama Bear regarding Kourtney Kardashian as she handles the paparazzi and her kids while vacationing in Australia. The reality star's husband, Travis Barker, is touring the country with his band, Blink-182, and while Kourtney can't always join him at the shows, she makes the best of her time exploring with two of her four children, Penelope and Reign Disick.

Throughout their trip thus far, Kourtney encountered some enormous spiders, which would surprise anyone when one of the eight-legged animals unexpectedly pops up. Meanwhile, Penelope expressed that her favorite part was the beach, as Australia has some of the most gorgeous beaches on the planet. The only thing thing that ruined the beach was seeing a shark attack, another trait that the country is known for.

Prior to traveling to Sydney and most Australian cities, Kourtney expressed major anxiety about the paparazzi since there are no laws restricting their access. Naturally, she was worried about Rocky being photographed and the photos being sold.

"Rocky hasn't been seen, and in California, there's a law that if I don't show the baby's face, the paparazzi [has] to blur his image," Kourtney revealed in last week's episode. "But in Australia, supposedly, there are no paparazzi laws. So, they can take a photo, and [you] know, sell his image."

The family fun is soon interrupted by the paparazzi while hanging out on a Sydney beach, and Penelope brings one to their attention. Reign, on the other hand, calls him a "stalker" but says, "Hi." I guess he's grown immune to the photographing, as he was raised in one of the world's most famous families.

Kourtney has a different attitude when it came to their privacy rights and why she's protects Rocky from them.

"The paparazzi are everywhere in Sydney," she shares in her confessional. "Everywhere. Which is why I'm not taking Rocky out. As much as I would love to stay home and be in my [baby] bubble, it's not fair for my kids [to go] all the way in Australia and not take them out to do things. I mean, we can't let [the paparazzi ruin our whole time."

Later in the episode, Kourtney reunites with Travis, and together, they have lunch on a yacht with bandmate Mark Hoppus and his wife Skye. Kourtney revealed that she has a connection with the latter since they brought their children on tour with them, and Skye always gives Kourtney great advice on how to handle it.

"Skye used to bring her son [Jack] on tour when he was a baby. So, it's just really nice to have that connection."
