The Kardashians: Kris Jenner reveals her medical scare following her scan

Kris Jenner dropped some personal news regarding her health, and it's horrific. In the July 4th episode of The Kardashians, the momager had a serious sit-down with three of her five daughters-Kim, Khloé, and Kendall-while on their Aspen getaway. Kris's boyfriend, Corey Gamble, came along too and was part of the conversation.

The news was a real eye-opener, since it has to do with women's health, and could happen to anyone. Kris was understandably upset, since it meant surgery, and taking away a piece that's responsible for creating life. Since Kris is a mother, her greatest joys were her pregnancies and to have the "source" erased is heartbreaking.

After a playful "Peak and Pit" game on the Aspen trip, things took a severe turn for the worse when Kris opened up regarding her latest scan results. Her daughters were in shock as they listened in.

"I went to the doctor, and I had my scan. They found...and this just makes me real emotional, a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary," Kris reveals in tears. "I went to the doctor and r. A said I've gotta have my ovaries taken out. And I'm just really emotional about it, because, you know, they came in handy with you guys [conceiving you]."

In her confessional, Kris further emphasized her feelings on her upcoming oophorectomy procedure, and turning over the last page of the motherhood chapter.

"I'm emotional about it because that's where all of my kids were conceived and that's where they were grown, in my tummy. And, so, this [is a] very sacred place to me," she says.

Kourtney called in to see how everyone was doing on their trip. She wasn't expecting her mother's sad news, as no one was.

"I'm just getting a little bit of surgery because I have a tumor on my ovaries," Kris tells her oldest child. "[And] they're gonna remove them. It's just, you know, the emotional part for me is just having that gone."

Kim was the first to express her outlook regarding the dilemma with her mother.

"To have a surgery and to remove your ovaries is a really big deal. I feel really sad for her you, know? I couldn't even imagine being in that situation and how you would feel really scared to be going through that."

Kris has high hopes, though, that if she can get through hip replacement," she can get through an oophorectomy. Despite not being nervous with her doctor or the challenges of anesthesia, Kris was honest about the end of her creation cycle, as it was snapped shut, and that part of her life was now over.

Kourtney weighed in on Kris's ordeal, sharing how she'd feel about it and what it meant.

"I totally understand how my mom is feeling because I would feel the same way," she says in her confessional. "It's your womanly power [and] it doesn't mean it's taking away who she is and what she's experienced, but I would have this sentimental feeling of what's it created."

Earlier in the episode, Kris was enjoying having the cabin to herself, as her daughters and Corey hitted the slopes. She toured the interior, made "friends" with a taxidermied raccoon, and had a drink. It was the high before the low, but thank God for Corey, who surprised Kris with an expensive Prada coat.

"It's amazing how new clothes fixes everything."
