SKIMS has definitely pushed the barriers of becoming one of the top names in the fashion industry. It's all thanks to Kim Kardashian's dedicated hard work and vision for her growing company that she launched in 2019. Of course, it's not surprising at all when she sets a goal and sticks to it. The efforts are (literally) paying off, as to quote the ads, "Everyone is wearing SKIMS."

2025 was a massive and still progressive year for SKIMS. Flagship stores, including two in Chicago and the newly opened on in Southern California, have popped up across the US. The athletic company, Nike teamed up with SKIMS to launch an exclusive collection to benefit sportswomen and beginning next year (2026), SKIMS will drop its beauty line that it acquired from SKKN.

In just under six years, Kim's fashion company gained $4 billion in profits and became a celebrity favorite. And need we say more? SKIMS has achieved yet another milestone in its history! Not only did it check off another financial gain, but the company is now worth more than two of the most recognized brands in the world. Who would have imagined it from something that began with dying undergarments with teabags?

SKIMS adds another one billion to its portfolio

According to the financial publication, Business Insider, SKIMS now has a valuation of $5 billion, thanks to its $225 million fundraising led by the financier, Goldman Sachs. It's beaten out Victoria's Secret, valued a $2.86 billion, and the athleisure company Under Armour, valued at just under $2 billion. VS has been around longer than me—since 1977 —so that's saying something about how quickly things can accumulate under Kim's hand.

SKIMS has vast plans to utilize its newly accrued wealth. It plans on expanding its flagship locations across America and the globe. You can guarantee that more celebrity ambassadors will sign up, and even more iconic partnerships with other big fashion brands and designers will happen. This is the the edge of SKIMS, and its exciting to witness how a company could do so much in so little time.

With the holiday season underway and new drops, including the Holiday Shop Collection and the cashmere sweaters, sales are expected to hit $1 billion by the end of 2025. Again, the growth is astronomical, so I wouldn't be surprised if SKIMS will one day be worth a trillion. Wouldn't that be something?
