The Dolce and Gabbana feud between Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian somewhat ignited on the February 27th episode of The Kardashians, "She Said Yes!" Kourtney has accused Kim of "stealing her wedding" for her 2022 fashion show. Wanting to correct things with her older sister, Kim extended an offer to include her in her SKIMS x Dolce and Gabbana collaboration campaign.
Will Kourtney accept the offer and move past the fashion faux pas that caused a rip in her and Kim's relationship?
At the episode, Kim expressed her concerns to Khloê and the style team when working on her new SKIMS project. Khloé's unsure of where the direction might go, as she vividly recalls Kourtney's anger and hurt from the feud. However, Kim's ready to try.
In her confessional, Kim highlighted the possible negative objective from Kourtney.
"Since the relationship between Dolce and Gabbana and Kourtney, she was really like, turned off obviously by me. But now, I'm thinking like the bigger picture, and how cool it would be, if like, the full circle moment was to have Kourtney in the campaign."
The campaign also boosted Kim's confidence, as she wasn't quite sure what she was doing for the fashion show, and perhaps, that made Kourtney angry, as many of the designs and shapes that were used were wedding inspired. With the campaign, Kim has a brighter vision for it and what she wants from it.
A little later in "She Said Yes!" the sisters have a sit-down discussion about the project and whether Kourtney would like to be a part of it.

At Kourtney's house, the sisters play a light-hearted game of ping-pong as they talk Travis and their kids. Kourtney is wearing her husband's hoodie and "Rocky" boots. Following the game, they sat down, and Kim opened up to her sister about the campaign.
"I have such an exciting opportunity for you and I that I wanted to talk to you about," Kim begins. "I told you about Dolce and SKIMS, right?"
Kourtney full listens to Kim and replies with "Yeah, obviously. And then you did the fashion show."
"And then I did the fashion show. I was like, 'We might as well do i[the collaboration]. Then, I couldn't imagine a better campaign then you and me together. I just think it wouldn't be a like, a Dolce thing without you."
However, Kourtney's feelings regarding the fashion show were valid, and before she agreed to do anything with Kim, the Poosh founder let it all out in her confessional. She still has difficulty digesting what happened and the drama the feud caused.
"Initially, everything that [Kim] did with Dolce, I just felt, like, so disconnected from my sister. and I didn't feel like my feelings were heard, or validated, or understood," she says.
Back to Kim, Kourtney disclosed in their conversation "that it wouldn't be a Dolce moment without me."
"It wouldn't," Kim agrees.
After giving it some thought, Kourtney made her decision despite being bitter about Kim's past moves and "the distance" between them; she laid out her decision.
"I feel like, we moved on in life. That sounds iconic"
Kim, for her part, was over the moon about Kourtney's choice and maybe even a bit shocked, which was confirmed later during her confessional.
"It is iconic, right?"
The sisters came to the mutual agreement that working on the campaign together. would be "iconic" and they could further put their past discrepancies behind them. In the Kardashian family, everything seems to work out in the end, despite initial fire-throwing.
"It'll be so fun. Did you guys hear that?" Kim asked the show's producers. "Did you get that on camera? She said 'Yes!"
Kourtney had one final say about being involved with Kim in the campaign. After all,
"We're sisters, and we love each other, and life is short, so it's time to move on."
It's amazing that Kim and Kourtney found their happiness again, and we all know that the Dolce and Gabbana x SKIMS collaboration was 'iconic' in the end. Oh, and Kourtney received a hefty paycheck for her commitment.
