The 2025 Met Gala will happen on May 5th at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, bringing in A-list celebrities in their very best fashion. It's also an imperative night for the museum, as the Met Gala is a fundraiser for the Costume Institute.
As we inch closer to the event, the Met Gala dropped its prestigious guest list today, only inviting the top names in Hollywood or who have made a significant moment in fashion. In the past, stars such as Beyoncé, Heidi Klum, and Paris Hilton turned heads with their jaw-dropping looks. This year promises to be more extravagant, as the theme is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, which emphasizes Black history in the fashion industry.
We know that Kim Kardashian is one of the Invited for 2025, and while she will knock it out of the park with her gown (and icy blonde hair), we're anticipating what other Red Carpet pieces everyone else will bring.

The 2024 Met Gala was featured during The Kardashians season 6, highlighting Kim's bruising from her custom silver gown. In case you need a recap, she literally had to squeeze into the corseted bodice. After the affair, the reality star retreated early to her hotel room as the dress was causing her pain. Her glam squad had to help her undress so that she could catch a breath.
“I am claustrophobic. I’ve never felt this way before, and I feel like I can’t breathe. I can handle it for so long but I have to pee. I can’t breathe. I can’t get this off. So with this one, I was just like, ‘I’m going to die if you don’t get this off me right now," Kim revealed in her confessional.
Yet, will she go through the entire body-pinching experience again? Or will she retire the look?
"Absolutely yes," Kim admitted. "That’s just who I am. If you look good, it is all worth it.”
