Why didn’t Stephanie Shepherd get a Valentine’s Day gift from Kim Kardashian?

Recently, Kim Kardashian sent Valentine’s Day gifts to her lovers and her haters but one person was not on the list…her former personal assistant Stephanie Shepherd. 

Now, before we get too deep into this analysis of Kim Kardashian’s Valentine’s Day gift recipients, it’s worth noting that the KUWTK star did say that she’s sending out her Kimoji Hearts fragrances to way more than just the people on the sticky notes she showed us on Thursday. Stephanie Shepherd may be getting one but her name was NOT included in the Snapchat video. Considering her huge role in Kim’s life up until news of her firing started to circulate in November.

"“I am writing the list for my press boxes, and I’m going to send them to way more than this. But, I decided for this Valentine’s Day, everyone deserves a Valentine. So I’m going to send them to my lovers, my haters, to everyone that I think of. Because it’s Valentine’s Day after all,” Kim said on Snapchat."

When Kim Kardashian initially fired Stephanie Shepherd, the reason was alleged that Stephanie had become to close with Kim’s sisters and was no longer putting her job first. In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that aired early in Season 14, Kim can be seen talking to Kourtney about Stephanie. Kim is obviously annoyed when Kourtney has more information about what’s going on with her own assistant than she does.

It was revealed on the show that Shepherd wasn’t feeling fulfilled in her role anymore. That episode aired just a few weeks before it was revealed that Kim had fired her.

Naturally, plenty of rumors and speculation followed. Many believed that the real reason for Stephanie Shepherd’s dismissal was because she was becoming a celebrity in her own right. Taking queues right from the Kim Kardashian playbook (don’t forget that she started out as an assistant to Paris Hilton) Stephanie amassed a huge Instagram following.

After an interview with Refinery 29, there were whispers that Steph Shep was just starting to feel herself a bit too much. That was a clear indication for Kim that Steph’s job was starting to take a backburner and it was time to move on.

Is there still bad blood between the two women? Kim has stayed silent about the whole matter, just as she was expected to do. Aside from a few Instagram posts that looked like subtle Kim Kardashian shade, Shep seems to have kept herself out of a feud with her former boss as well.

So when it comes to the Valentine’s Day deliveries of the Kimoji Hearts limited fragrance, it really doesn’t look like Stephanie Shepherd got one. There’s no telling if Kim and Steph will ever get past their drama last year and be friends again. The way things are looking right now, Kim’s former assistant seems to be enjoying her time sans the Kardashians. She’s not even posting pictures of or with Kendall and Kourtney anymore and she was pretty close to them in the past.
