Kanye West unfollowed Kim and all the Kardashians on Twitter after their gushing birthday messages – OUCH!

So Keeping Up With the Kardashians has now ended, having aired its last (EVER!😭) episode on Thursday, June 10, 2021, and it seems Kanye West has ended his relationship with Kim Kardashian and her KUWTK family for good too, after eagle-eyed fans noticed that the 43-year-old singer – who flew to Paris with surprise girlfriend, Russian model, Irina Shayk, for his birthday – unfollowed the Kardashian-Jenner clan off social media, following gushing birthday tributes from the family.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021 but has remained pretty tight-lipped when it comes to the reasons behind her divorce – until now that is – choosing to take the high road despite reportedly strained relations with Kanye, the 40-year-old SKIMS founder even posted a surprisingly touching message to her Instagram for his 43rd birthday (June 8), writing beside a family photo (minus adorable Psalm, two) – where Kim looked particularly tired – that she would “love” the rapper “for life”.

Following Kim Kardashian’s lead, the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan followed suit and surprisingly posted equally warm messages, on social media, dedicated to Kanye, including a message from Khloe Kardashian on Instagram, who wished her “brother for life” the “best birthday”.

But it seems the kind messages just didn’t make up for the words said by Kim Kardashian, on her marriage to Kanye West, during the last two episodes of KUWTK.  As, according to reports, the ‘Gold Digger’ singer unfollowed his ex-wife and her famous family off Twitter “as the KUWTK finale aired” on E!, which is just days after the Kardashian-Jenner clan flooded Instagram’s timeline with gushing messages.

Why did Kanye West unfollow Kim Kardashian off of Twitter?

Of course, it couldn’t have been easy watching his ex-wife break down on screen over their marriage, or as Kim finally opened up about how unhappy she was to her mom Kris Jenner, 65, so it’s understandable if Kanye West decided to unfollow Kim and her famous sisters to be able to shield himself from any onslaught of comments sent his way. At the moment, Kim Kardashian is still the only person Kanye West follows on Instagram, but with his recent unfollow on Twitter, we’re keeping an eye to see whether he’ll set the final nail in the coffin of their relationship.

One thing’s for sure, Kanye West has definitely cut ties and closed the Kardashian chapter in his life, just like the rest of the family closed their chapter on the reality show.
