Kim Kardashian seems to have it all: a beautiful home in Calabasas, a beauty and fashion empire, a hit Hulu series, an aspiring law mission, unlimited funds, and being a mother to four kids. Kim also has the support of her sisters, brother, and mother, all of whom have found their light in the media realm.

Although Kim may have found her success, there are times when the SKIMS founder’s life gets to an obstacle. Speaking with the self-hep guru and online influencer Jay Shetty in his On Purpose podcast on May 22nd, Kim opened up about what she gravitates to when hitting a hard spot.

For me, I love working, so that makes me happy. Anytime I think something’s really hard, I dive into work, and if there [are] challenges, I love to dive into my work, and that’s like a bit of my therapy and the routine to keep me going.”

Another motivator for finding balance in life is her four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West. The Kardashians star reflected on how parenting taught her “the most about herself” and how being a parent can be chaotic.

When you’re in it, I mean, especially when they’re babies, and you’re feeding, there’s madness going on,” the KUWTK alum pointed out. “It’s like full madness. It’s the best chaos, though.

Even though motherhood can be challenging, especially with young children and growing up in the public eye, it’s rewarding but comes without preparation.

It is the most rewarding job in the entire world,” the happy mother said honestly. “It is. There is nothing that can prepare you. I don’t care how long you wait. I don’t care what you’re waiting for. You are never prepared.”

Since Kim and her sisters had children around the same time, she affirmed that the kids “can be there for each other” and “have these experiences together.”

Just like she and her siblings did, and still do.
